Cape Cod Striper Fishing updates 2009

Cape Cod's Fly Fishing Exposition

Come Visit Us at Chatham Bars Inn

Saturday, February 21, 2009

We are very excited to announce our first ever Cape Cod Fly Fishing Expo at Chatham Bars Inn on Saturday February 21st. And, it's Free !

Just when cabin fever has set in and it seems that your chances to fly fish here on the Cape are still months away, we are about to help you stay connected to your favorite pastime. On Saturday, February 21, Fishing The Cape along with Aarons of Eastham will be bringing you a day filled with fly fishing information, fly tying instruction, fly fishing art, and an opportunity to purchase brand name fly fishing goods at extraordinarily low prices.

Held at Cape Cod's premier resort and the home of our Orvis Saltwater Fly Fishing School, Chatham Bars Inn is the perfect place to spend a day centered around fly fishing. We will have fly tyers on hand all day, fly fishing authors to discuss their latest books, a fly fishing artist or two, and an incredible sale featuring our famous 50 cent and $1.00 flies as well as six-piece fully warranteed fly rods at less than $100.00.

Oh, and for you Barbour fans, we'll be re-waxing Barbour jackets for you for FREE all day long. Just bring in your favorite Barbour waxed cotton jacket and we'll professionally re-finish it for you on the spot*. And, if that isn't enough, we'll have a bunch of Half Price brand new Barbour jackets for you to consider for purchase.

Please call us at 508-432-1200 for more information or stop in and say hello at either Fishing The Cape or Aarons of Eastham and we'll be happy to fill you in with all the details.

* If we are unable to finish re-waxing all jackets on the day of the event, we will provide vouchers for jackets that are presented during the event to be re-waxed at Barbour's U.S. corporate headquarters in New Hampshire
